Abstract

Lorinda Dauphinee never really knew her grandmother but when she is given her diaries after her grandmother's funeral she has the opportunity to get to know her better. Reading her grandmother's diary, Lorinda comes to realise that she is not alone in her feelings and that thirteen is a difficult age for anyone, in all periods of history.
