On a wonderful fine day, Sam Sculpin goes for a swim around the harbour. As he passes by his neighbors, he greets them with an enthusiastic hello, but quickly notices that everyone seems to be upset with poor Sam. Sam discovers that his neighbors dislike and distrust Sam because they think he is ugly. Saddened by his neighbors, Sam begins to believe what they are saying until he meets Sara Sculpin, who is the most beautiful fish he has ever seen!
