Child, Youth and Place in Atlantic Canadian Literature: 9th Raddall Symposium

In July 2015, SeaStacks' co-investigators Andrea Schwenke Wyile, Sue Fisher and Vivian Howard hosted the 9th Thomas H. Raddall Symposium at Acadia University. Titled, Child, Youth and Place in Atlantic Canadian Literature, the symposium brought together literary scholars, authors, illustrators, publishers and librarians for three days of talks, art and conversation. The symposium grew out of our work on SeaStacks, and even though some of the coverage is outside SeaStacks' 1978-2011 time frame, we have decided to include it here.

The following playlist includes:

  • An overview of the art exhibit, Image, Word, Design curated by Laurie Dalton and Andrea Schwenke Wyile. Featuring the art of Molly Lamb Bobak, Darka Erdelji, Brenda Jones, and Leonard Paul
